The voice of one soul, in this desert...
Hello Sea, Hello Sea,
Hair freely Streaming,
Face freely revealing,
Always shinning, Always searching,
Always Mother, Always beauty
Hello Mother,
Who reflects the breeze of existence,
from each molecule of your body,
Always giving, Always enthusiast,
Always grand, Always the sea,
Hello Sea, Hello Mother,
What do you compose?
What do you play?
The crystal of your Poetry
Always shinning,
The Language of your instrument
Always charming,
What is new with you?
Call upon God, I am blue, I got the blues!
The happiness has escaped from my song
My words are broken in my tongue.
Why are you silent? you are asking,
Why not shouting out the rush of sadness?
Why not scratching the veil of darkness?
Why are you welcoming all wrong and badness?
With broken arms, with no power to fight
How would I break the darkness of night
How would I defeat the troops of sorrow?
With feet all tight, with no helping hands
Did you say "shout out"?
What does it do,
The voice of one soul, in this desert hole?
Did you say "scratch"?
Who has ever built a pathway in granite,
by digging with a fingernail?
Call upon God, I am blue, I got the blues!
In this darkness, from one of horizons
will the sun rise, one of these nights?...

poem by: Fereydoon Moshiri
Seize me, O Sea
O The mythmaker at my bedside
Myth of a life you are, yea come forth, O Sea
Your nightly tears, mirror of a hundred sorrows
Your whining at night the lamenting melody, O Sea
By the star of Sun at your foot I shall die
Hold a hand in prayer at my deathbed, O Sea
Your waves my corpse has flung ashore
Seize me, O Sea; Seize me, O Sea
O! Tell me a word of those strayed
Till as twilight my eyelashes rain blood, O Sea
As I in calamity of storm, all turbulence you are
Our being all turbulence and woe shall be, O Sea
With whisper of rain I'm weeping by you
All zeal ‘n’ tune you are, harp of a thousand songs, O Sea
The Lonely dark dawn of the gloom shall be
Happy the time of dawn-risers, that morn of peace, O Sea
Seize and sweep this lifeless body afar
Leave it in bosom of a whirlpool and come by, O Sea
The sleepless mother you are, the restless child I am
For the sake of heavens hum your lullaby, O Sea
blow a wave and save me from all the dust and sod
This tale tell to none, when and where it was, O Sea.
