Labreez (Overflow),
The music of thoughts and feelings

The music of Labreez was made for a collection of poetry about the sea. As a metaphor each piece speaks of an inner voice that cries out in blues or turmoil like tide and flow of the sea, the rhythms the tune the tempo and over all harmony is to express the pain & sorrow, joy & trill or even the silence of the sea within each one of us.

This music guides us to go beyond our ordinary expectation and think in a deeper way. Its purpose is not only for easy listening nor being used for another background music, but to break the usual boundary of repetition and bringing a new vision to the music of Iran. Although the base of this music is rock and metal, but it is in correlation with the language of the poetry or in another words; this is to combine the old profound but simple words of Fereydoon Moshiri's poetry to a new way of listening for the young generation's ears. Maybe this approach will reach inside each individual, and by letting it in, more thoughts and feelings in a deeper sense will be aroused.

Here is a brief explanation about each track:

1. In conversation with the sea, like a child tells the Mother about his loneliness and hinderer.

2. Loosing a Jewel like Love in the sea is hidden in the music...

3. Awaiting for years, as a long dark night seeking the break of the morning light.

4. The storm and hurricane has taken all he had, and the music cries from the mouth of this almost drowned fellow, towards the stormy sea.

5. The tired fellow is now in the shore reaching the sleepless Mother but this time to be cleans by her wave with hopes of annihilation in her deep sea.

6. In all the struggles, running and falling, trials and errors, not to loose hope at the end of all the hopeless attempts, resembles the struggle of the shell that produces a pearl of hope inside.

7. In the rain shower, hearing the sound of each rain drop and feeling their excitement as they mix with the sand, in order to bring sparkling beauty to the gardens and valleys. To join with the other rain drops, to loose themselves in the love of one another, and above all become one unit, the sea.

8. The Moon looking at Earth with tears in his eyes for all of the wars and shedding of bloods he sees, for the pain of not being able to hear the voices of innocents and pure. The destruction of this world that once was built by our own hands causes a tide like overflow (Labreez) of sadness to the point that even the soil of earth, can feel all the pains and sufferings, and wishes to be drowned.

9. Hearing the sound of the sea, as the water strikes the rocks at shore, the poet remembers the storm of with in, calling to the sea for purification to be free of all unjust....
